EXCUSES, EXCUSES, EXCUSES
Which is your favourite?

I'M TOO BUSY
If you have time to read the newspapers or to travel to your favourite food stall, you can make time for exercise. Just 15 minutes 3 times a week will make a difference.
TOO DIFFICULT. I CAN'T KEEP IT UP.
Choose one of many easy exercises which you can enjoy. It could be just walking. Start gradually. You'll soon learn to enjoy it.
I DON'T NEED EXERCISE. I NEED TO RELAX.
Exercise is an excellent way to relax! It helps you unwind after a stressful day. It helps you sleep better.
I'M NOT THE SPORTY TYPE.
You don't need to be good at sports to enjoy exercise. There are so many kinds of exercises to choose from - not only sports. Just try one and see. You'll soon get used to it, and wonder why you didn't start earlier! I'M TOO OLD. You are never too old to start. Simple exercises like walking and qigong will keep you healthy in old age.
I CAN'T DO IT ON MY OWN.
Get family and friends to join you! Join activities at your community centre. There are also gyms or clubs to choose from.
I DON'T LOOK GOOD IN SHORTS.
Don't let embarrassment put you off exercise and health! You will look better eventually - if you start regular exercise now.
